i want to stick with the german theme and get at least a Blaupunkt cd player/radio

i have no clue about the speakers

Do you plan on installing this yourself?

A Blaupunkt head unit is fine. Just make sure you buy a single DIN head unit.

The stock front speakers are 4" and thats the biggest you can go in the front without cutting the dash apart. Most people just stick with 4" speakers in the front.

Since you have a later model, im not sure if you have the active bass system. Which includes an amp in the trunk, and 5 1/2" speakers in the rear and speakers in the door which are subwoofers. You would have to check it out for yourself.

If you dont have that setup, then you only have 4" rear speakers. You can go bigger in the rear. You can fit 6x9's if you wanted to, but you will most likely need to cut out the metal so the magnets of the speakers clear.

I recommend replacing the speakers. The OEM's are worthless. You just have some decisions to make on some speakers.
