Okay. How exactly do you remove the dome light?

I have cleaned the sensor out as best as I could and here are the results. I do notice that the climate control does the same thing though. Even without the sensor it shuts off at the same time.

OK try the led trick and warm the sensor up, then see if the compressor shuts down the same way as before.

Okay tried the LED trick today (I know a bit late) and same thing that happened the last time. But I did pull the codes from the climate control system and the in car temp sensor is showing up. I may have showed up before but I didn't pay any attention to it. Will see about getting a replacement to see if this will fix my problem.

My name is Micah, I’m working on a W140 and the a/c is giving me trouble. I ran the diagnostic on the N22 and the #7 is too high, which is the Refrigerant Pressure Switch. The RPS is reading at 32 bar. I unplugged it, replaced it and it’s still reading 32. I also tried clearing an error code from 1232, malfunction RPS, it will not clear. Have you seen this error?
