Hello everyone,

My car was having performance issues, sluggish accelerating from stop lights and also having a noticeable but erratic gasping when driving.

I took it in to an indy to check it as well as perform the Service B as that was due as well.

He gave it a clean bill of health, no engine or transmission issues after running all the possible tests. So he decided to just clean the mass air sensor and throttle body.

Fast forward to last night, I'm driving back from the coffee shop and the check engine light comes on. I scanned with my OBD scanner and got error codes P0172 and P0175.

Today I decided to drive a bit as my commute is less than 2 miles each way (I just moved - previous commute was 60 miles each day and I took numerous road trips) - so I went on a 15 minutes drive and then checked again.

Below is the report I got this time.

Fault log report generated by Torque for Android
=================================================
Vehicle Manufacturer: Mercedes-Benz

Current Fault Log
------------------
P0172: System too Rich (Bank 1)

Pending Fault Log
------------------
P0172: System too Rich (Bank 1)
P0175: System too Rich (Bank 2)

Historic Fault Log
------------------
ECU reports no historic faults
Other discovered fault codes
(possibly pending, current or manufacturer specific)
----------------------------------------------------
P0746: Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Performance or Stuck Off
P0750: Shift Solenoid "A"
P2092: A Camshaft Position Actuator Control Circuit Low bank2 b)
P2096: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean bank1

End of report.

How worried should I be? I'm about to take it back for an examination.

battery drain after rpm rev on its own

1997 e320 ..starts and idles fine.. after about 15 minutes..the rpms rev on it's own between 7 and 12 then the gas pedal is unresponsive and so is the tranny..shut the car down and try to start with less than year old battery and it's too low to turn over the engine - charge the battery back up and it starts and runs fine...drives fine til it starts this rev thing again..

I know that this is old but what was the solution? I'm having the same issues with an 06 c230 sport w 110k miles on engine and 6 speed manual transmission.
