:?:just purchased A230 18" wheels off 2003 sl. tried to mount to my 96 sl500 amd my 96 sl wheel studs are too long and the a230 rim won't tighten up. do any of u know where can purchase shorter mercedes studs

I know that some of the MB models have changed from 12mm (diameter) to 14mm bolts. If your car uses 12mm bolts don't use the new wheels. I don't know very much about SL's. Your dealer may have bolts in various lengths and also try some tire and wheel stores. To be sure you get the right ones, I would e-mail or call [email protected]
