Howdy All,

I have a problem on my 93' E500. This problem started after I had my injector nozzles cleaned. The car started giving off white smoke that smells like ATF. I have since changed, the plugs, the engine oil & filter. The problem still remains. I had the MB workshop to check on the compression and other electrical diagnostics... they couldn't find any problem. I noticed my oil level dropped. Power steering fluid is intact, Transmission fluid is also intact. But smoking continues.......
Has anybody got any ideas?

maybe a head gasket as white smoke usually means burning water.....or only other thing is valve stem oil seals
i guess this because my classic mini also ahs the same problem and its the valve stem oil seals thatll cure it

White smoke

More info is needed, like
-how many miles is on your engine
-what did you use to clean injectors
-was anything else "cleaned"
-any gasoline additives perhaps
-what type of oil did you use in engine
-what fuel did you use !?!?!?
White smoke can be from coolant and engine oil. Coolant due to head gasket failure, oil due to .... let's stay with valve train in this case. if it's oil smoke will become blueish in color with time.
White smoke might come from lean, low quality fuel, gasoline mixed with diesel ........... many variables here.
